How much does rooftop solar installation cost in Kerala?
The cost depends on system capacity, panel and inverter selection, roof structure and site conditions. We provide a written estimate after assessing your usage and roof, so you can compare the full installed cost.
Is a government subsidy available for home solar in Kerala?
Eligible residential customers may qualify for a central subsidy under PM Surya Ghar. The amount and eligibility depend on current scheme rules and system capacity. We can help with registration and documentation.
Can I get a loan or EMI for my solar system?
Solar finance may be available through bank partners, subject to lender terms and eligibility. We can help you prepare the documents needed to explore available options.
How does KSEB net metering work?
A bi-directional meter records electricity drawn from the grid and eligible excess solar power exported to it. KSEB rules, approval and billing conditions apply. We help with the application and coordination.
What are TOPCon bifacial solar panels?
TOPCon is a solar cell technology designed for strong conversion efficiency. Bifacial modules can also capture reflected light from their rear side, depending on the roof and mounting conditions.
How long does a solar installation take?
The on-site work depends on the system size and roof conditions. Approvals, meter installation and commissioning timelines depend on the relevant authorities and project requirements.
How much roof space will I need?
Required space varies by module dimensions, system capacity, shade and access clearance. A site survey gives a reliable layout for your roof.
How is the system protected during Kerala’s monsoon?
Our designs include suitable mounting, earthing, protected cabling and surge protection selected for the site. We assess structural and electrical conditions before installation.
Will solar eliminate my electricity bill?
Savings depend on generation, daytime usage, tariff and KSEB billing rules. We estimate likely output based on your site and electricity consumption rather than promising a zero bill.
Do you install solar outside Kochi?
Yes. Zionix Solar Solutions provides solar installation services for homes, businesses and industrial properties throughout Kerala.
What maintenance is included?
We include free service and maintenance for five years. We also explain monitoring and routine care during handover.
What warranties do the modules carry?
The TOPCon modules featured by Zionix carry a 30-year performance warranty and a 12-year product warranty. Refer to the final proposal and manufacturer documents for specific terms.
